    Default Paypal for fxopenAus

I was reading the earlier thread about paypal or money bookers and the mods there mentioned that you could use paypal for fxopenaus. I took a look at the website and it does not seem to be an option yet. Is this an ongoing process or has the idea been completely dumped?

Yes, I saw the link that seems to just say it accepts moneybookers. But if you look at the following link, then the director of FXOpenAus mentioned in Feb this year they were looking into a Paypal business account:

This this not materialise or is this been shelved indefinitely?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

FXOpen AU PTY LTD put forward a formal request for a paypal merchant earlier this year. Unfortunately, according to Paypal, they do not accept business transactions for retail FOREX brokerage firms. We understand that other firms may be processing paypal transactions. To our knowledge this is against their terms, however we will continue to investigate the possibility of using paypal for our services.
We have obtained moneybookers since then and are looking into more options for the convenience of our clients.

Should you have any further questions, please do let us know.

    Regards,

    The FXOpen Team
