    Dear Traders

    On April 28, 2012 FXOpen will release a few updates. MyFXOpen may be unavailable or difficult to access for several hours during the day.

    Make sure you postpone important money transfers until a later date. Sorry for any inconveniences caused. We will try to keep the downtime to the minimum.

    What's New:

    1. E-Wallet Password Recovery Changes
    2. Customize eWallet Password
    3. Join or Open PAMM from eWallet
    4. Inactive Accounts Displayed in Grey in MyFXOpen
    5. E-mail Notifications for Withdrawals, Transfers and Payment Notices, Verification Approved or Rejected.
    6. All trading accounts opened under an eWallet are now added to the agent’s referral list.

    E-Wallet Password Recovery Changes

    E-wallet password can now be recovered automatically (no need to upload IDs and wait till the back office department approves the recovery request).

    1) Go to https://cabinet.fxopen.com/RecoveryPassword.aspx (no need to log in)
    2) enter the e-mail address registered with the FXOpen e-wallet and click Submit
    3) You will receive an e-mail from [email protected] . Click the link in this e-mail message to confirm password recovery.

    Customize eWallet Password

    The eWallet password, that FXOpen sends to you after registration is a random combination of letters and digits and therefore is hard to remember. You can now set an eWallet password of your own, that will be easier for you to remember.

    However, there are a few rules you have to follow (to make your password secure):
    • Password must be at least 10 characters long
    • Must contain letters of the English alphabet and digits (at least one digit)
    • Must contain at least one upper case letter

    For Example: Fxopen4ever

    The Change Password option is under the Settings menu in MyFXOpen.

    Join or Open PAMM from eWallet

    All operations with PAMM accounts will involve the FXOpen eWallet (not the trading accounts). This applies to Managers and Investors both.

    Now you only need to have an FXOpen eWallet to:
    open a PAMM account
    deposit/withdraw to/from a PAMM account
    join a PAMM account
    close a PAMM account

    When you open a PAMM account as a Manager or join a PAMM account as an Investor, the money will be taken from your FXOpen eWallet. When you withdraw from a PAMM account or close a PAMM account, the money will be returned to your FXOpen eWallet, too.

    Inactive Accounts Displayed in Grey in MyFXOpen

    Inactive trading accounts, that were placed to archive due to 90 or more days of inactivity, will be highlighted grey in the list of accounts in MyFXOpen.

    Such accounts will be removed from drop down lists on the Internal Transfer and Deposit pages in MyFXOpen

    E-mail Notifications for Withdrawals, Transfers and Payment Notices, Verification Approved or Rejected.

    Know when exactly your requests are processed by FXOpen back office staff.

    You will receive an automatic e-mail notification from [email protected] each time when FXOpen approves or rejects:
    • withdrawal
    • transfer between accounts
    • payment notice
    • verification documents

    All trading accounts opened under an eWallet are now added to the agent’s referral list.

    When Referral opens an FXopen eWallet via an Agent’s link, all trading accounts that the Referral adds via Add New Account will be added to the Agent’s list of referrals and the agent will be receiving commission from all these accounts.

    Skype ID Added to Registration Form.

    Skype ID is optional. If you do not have a skype ID just leave the field blank and go on to the next step of the registration form.

    Default We will try it

    that tunning is good and as far as i am concerned point 4 -5 and 6 will solve some problems with trading accounts. it will be a kind of "pop up" enabling some anticipations in keeping accounts work. And i think point 1 and too will solve my problem with ewallet.

    A pop up to remind that your account will be placed in archive soon is a good idea. We should consider implementing it.

    This is great improvement on the platform thanks and especially the skype feature is very impressive.

    4. Inactive Accounts Displayed in Grey in MyFXOpen

    This one should not be implement since most trader create different type of account for different purpose. As long as they active in one of the account, it consider all the account still been use by the trader in any time they feel comfortable to use. Most of the account still have minimum balance as well.

    Instead of implement this, FXOpen should consider to build option to delete the account base on trader needs. It part of tidy up the trader cabinet.

    I've difficulties to make internal transfer to one of the account although it was active. Support mail has been sent but yet to get reply.

    You can perform no trades in the account for an unlimited period of time. No extra fee will be charged for it. Inactive accounts with balance under USD 50 are placed into the archive if there is no activity in the account (no logins via Meta Trader 4) for 3 months or more, so its cannot be restore anymore. If there is more than USD 50 in the account - it will not be placed into the archive, no matter how long you keep it inactive.

    Just added new account under same cabinet

    If you already have an account with FXOpen and want to open one more account, log into MyFXOpen with your current account login (e-mail) and MyFXOpen password, choose menu ADD NEW ACCOUNT and fill in the Registration form.
    The new account will have its own number, passwords, but the same name, address, phone number and e-mail as your old account. If the old account has been verified, the new account will be verified automatically.
