Default About limitation on a micro account

    hi all.
it's about $500 limitation on a micro account..
just think.. for example my money management (MM) is - no more 2% of deposit stop loss for 1 ticket...
my depo is 2'000 cc - I open eurusd 0.1 microlots with sl=40 pips
my depo is 10'000 cc - 0.5 microlots, sl=40 pips
50'000 cc - I need to open 2.5 microlots with sl=40 pips, but my account automatically changes to standart and there minimum lot 0.1? (it's 10 microlots, but i need 2.5) - why so?

    ok, sorry for my english..

    1. I risk no more 2% of my deposit for one position.
    2. Let's see: my deposit $600 (60'000 cc).
    3. I need to open position eurusd with stop loss 40 pips.
    4. If I risk 2% in one position, maximum loss must be $12.
    5. 1 pip must be $0.3 (30 cc).
    6. Because of it, my position volume must be 3 microlots (0.03 standard lots).
    7. But I CAN'T OPEN position with this lots volume, because after $500 account automatically changes to standard and there min lot = 0.1 (10 microlots).
    8. WHY?

did someone understand my problem? and may be someone can answer to this simple question - WHY?

As you said when your balance exceeds 500 dollars, it converts automatically into standard account; also i know that the meaning of risk that you afford, is the number of pips you afford to loss, to your total balance, which means:

    you have a balance of 600usd, to make a risk of 2% = 600*2/100 = 12usd = 12pips. not 40 (because in standard account 1pip = 1usd)

    i hope that helped you

Why? This is the way the micro account system has been set up.

Mazakoni, why must I place my stop loss in 12 pip, if I need 40?

RebateFX, do you mean cent accounts is not for real work? or you think everybody can open 20-30-1000K account?

Anybody here working in fxopen? Please answer me.

Hello.., I'm just wondering for Slava19rus's issue.. Can standard account be reversed to micro account again after the balance below $500 ?
Or.., can we move balance trading including its Floating Profit/Loss to another new micro account instead of just only its free margin ? Thank you.

You can't reverse an account back to micro. In that case, opening a new micro and doing an internal transfer is the solution.

I see.. so from your suggestion RebateFX, traders can still keep trading with the same funds on micro account(cents) even with their current open positions floating P/L(balance must below $500) by requesting an internal transfer to move funds from previous standard acc. to a new micro acc.. ? If that's allowed , it would be a great alternative for traders who like relatively keep small risks.
    Thank you for your advise.
