    Default Rapid changing of leverage

Let's say, my current leverage is 1:200. I go to my account #***** & change it to 1:500 @, say, 11.15am GMT.

Question #1: how soon will the change take effect(give me the time)?
Question #2: will the change take effect on the new positions opened or the new & the current ones?
Question #3: can I see anywhere in the Terminal what the current leverage is?

    Thank u.

No, only the margin used to open the positions will change. Leverage doesn't affect profits.

    for Standard Accounts only!!

We need $25 to open 0.1 lot in AUD @ 1:500. The price of 1pip=$1
We need $50 to open 0.1 lot in GBP\JPY @ 1:500. The price of 1pip=~$1

Which one would u choose to trade?

    Why? For $1000 u can open 4 lots in AUD @ 1pip\$40 whereas for gbp\jpy u can open only 2 lots @ 1pip\$20?

U need to invest $500 for aud & $1000 for gbp\jpy while the return is equal in both cases. U see?

Because of following MM policy. I enter with 10% of the money maximum (especially with GJ )

Sure, you can deposit a little and use almost 100% of your margin to open one trade, but you mustn't forget that while you could make a large profit with that trade, you could also lose it all with a small market move against you.

for standard accts leverage 1:500 only!

To buy 0.1 lot in AUD u need $25.
To buy 8.0(maximum possible lot in the Terminal) lot in AUD u need $2000.

Does that mean that $2000 is the maximum possible amount to be used in a single trade?
