    Hello everyone.
I just have a question and i dont want to open a new topic just for that.
I'm arguing with some one that tells me this.
if you open a standard account with a leverage of 1:500 and balance $25, and trade 0.10 lots, 1 pip is equal with $1 (at EUR/USD).so if your trade is -25 pips you lose all your money.
    Is this true?

    Hello TaKiii

    (1) FOREX trading is not a game

Although there are many people in the world who treat FOREX as a game if you are planning on making trading a secure form of income, you must not treat it as such.
It is always acceptable to enjoy what you do for a living, but strategies that could be considered "a coin flip" or taking excessive risks for the thrill is not going to help you in the long term.
Those that treat FOREX trading as a game, tend to lose their deposits very quickly. This is not good for anyone.
I'm one of these people who treat forex as a game as I can't see me making it a business venture at my time of life.
But I love helping others who do want to learn as part of their own outlook in life.

I don't worry about losing my deposit quickly as its all done as part of some testing method I'm trying out at the time, but the most important thing about my trading, its all done with money I can afford to lose.

    Good luck

I agree on this one but it does not mean we don't going to review our past performance. Because if we make mistake before we can make the same mistake again or similar mistake. so history still repeats itself. Its better to understand the before to know the after.
I do agree that the history repeats itself, but we can be assured of that. Sometimes everything set up perfect for a particular pattern like head and shoulder but at the end it will fail pretty badly. There money management will help us a lot.
