    I had to build my first one myself. It was a Z80 kit computer. The first brand name one I got was a Commodore 64

    My first computer was custom-build somewhere i still have a note with it's configuration:

    Intel Celeron 800GHz
    30 GB hard drive
    256 RAM

    In 2002 or 2003 that was awesome!
