    I was under the impression that fxopen carried a fixed spread policy is this true???

    Hi. i was wondering after reading through some of the contract specs what limits fxopen employs with regards to forced leverage reductions.

    ie. can i have 500k in an account and still have 1:500 leverage?

    could i have a list of account balance vs imposed leverage...

    thanks

    *edit* 20 second after i posted this i found the answer!! check 5, @ http://www.fxopen.com/faq.aspx

    Hi

    On FAQ number 5 that are leverage can use on standard account

    Standard account leverage rule --->
    Leverage available for FXOpen trading accounts is from 1:1 to 1:500 for accounts under 25,000 USD. From 1:1 to 1:200 for accounts under 100,000 USD. And from 1:1 to 1:100 for accounts under 1,000,000 (1 million) USD. You can choose any you like.

    Micro account leverage rule --->
    Maximum balance allowed is US$3000 (When the account reaches a balance of US$3000 or more, the leverage will be reduced 100x (for example from 1:500 to 1:5). To adjust the leverage back to the level of your choice, you can withdraw from your account (or close some losing positions) to make the balance less than US$3000, then adjust the leverage from your MyFXOpen area.

    =======================================

    FXOPEN have fixed spread. If u already trade Rreal/Live account u can see when big news came out, spread not change or widen.

    Thanks

    why does it say then that "*The spread shown is under normal market conditions. Our spreads are not fixed and will fluctuate with news or other high / low volume conditions."

    That just leaves fxopen to raise the spread in the new year as you have seen before or if there is some unexpected event that causes the spread to be widened temporarily. Our policy is to keep fixed spreads 99.99% of the time.

    hmmmm.

    you mean like news?

    devious, i cant say i blame you for including that clause but should there really be all the advertising (forum posts) that say absolutely that fxopen have fixed spreads?

    and isn't it a little bit naughty to contradict your self?

    maybe a new tag line could read, fxopen keeps spreads fixed more than any other broker.?

    I know i'm picking at details but without knowing this i would be writing very angry emails if the spreads ever widened out of the blue.

    It's in the agreement that you agree to when opening an account that spreads can widen. But, when have you seen the spread widen at any other time apart from the new year at fxopen? Never, so the fixed spread policy is being adhered to right?

    All reply above already answer u question, i dont not understand why u keep asking the same question. We already said our spread are fixed, unless management mention if any spread change like during Christmas and New Year.
    I already trade with fxopen since mac 2007, n i dont see widen spread even big news came out unless fxopen mention like i said above.
    So please dont make any confusing here.
    Like RebateFX said - Our policy is to keep fixed spreads 99.99% of the time.

    Thanks

    ** Did u see any widen spread when NFP (hot news always every month) came out ?

    Hello
    I have a demo account in MetaTrader open with you for quite a few months before opening a real account that I would like to reply on a question that I have
    In the demo during the Asian session of the spreads EURGBP and EURCHF are in 3 pips. Live you keep these spreads in 3 dei 24 hours during the day?
    Best regards
