    Default To open a position at certain time automatically?

    I would like to open a position automatically at a certain time automatically. How do I do that? Is there a script or EA that allows me to do that?

    Thank you for your reply.

    A pending order (whether it's a buy limit, buy stop, sell limit or sell stop) only allows you to open a position at a certain price when the price action hits that price. I know because I use pending orders too but that's not what I am looking for.

    I am looking to open a position at a particular time, say 9am. How do you do that?

    I hope someone can provide me an answer to this.

    You could do it by writing an EA to do it for you. A pending order can only have an expiry, not a time to open though that would be an interesting feature to have. Suggest it to Metaquotes

    My own EA is for pending sell-stop only:

    It will place a sell-stop order only when the previous order closes, I did try it by placing a code in it to only open on the time frame the chart was set at.

    Example: 15m chart once the previous order closed the next wouldn't open until on the hour, 15 mins past, 30 mins past 15 mins to the hour.

    Daily open at 00.00 sunday 23.05

    It didn't benefit my EA so I removed it but here's the code if you have your own EA you can try it.
    int timeframe = 0; (place before start {
    (Time[0] == timeframe) return(0); timeframe = Time[0];(place after start { only place the black bold type in EA.
