    Default EUR/USD - USD/CHF Correlation, why...

    Hi guys.

i am new to forex about 1 month baby .

1 things among many things i have been noticing in the last days, its a strange correlation between eur/usd and usd/chf(frank).

i have been noticing that when lets say the eur/usd increase in value really fast.
the another pair plummet hard too. when usd gains value against euro the usd/chf pair gains.

i am not sure but i think its because frank is pegged in some way to the euro for being in europe, is that right?

thx for any reply. i want to clear my curiosity.toothy9
