    Default Trading forex news

    Hi all,

I have a question about news trading. I understand news can move the market and it does but I find it hard to trade. Does anyone here trade news and how do you do it? It seems that price does not always move in the direction it should. I was just wondering if there is something I'm missing or maybe I don't understand what the news is saying.

You hit the nail on the head there. News trading is only for those who can afford the thousands of dollars per month for a proper news feed, and then for them to be able to analyse the indices and sub-indices contained within the news and also their impact on not only the currency market, but equities and stocks as well.

For the rest of us, news trading is a hit and miss affair and I don't recommend it at all.

my little piece of help sm_rolleye

i use a program call RTT News, so when a news is going to be released it tells me as a alert and the final results as well. it runs like a messenger and notifies me in the desktop when every new is released, you can configure categories, sounds, and many things more, really cool.

here you can find it : http://www.rttnews.com/ , look for the program.

    hope this helps sm_scatter

Trading on the news requires previous experience. One thing is certain: the market must move in one direction. Mainly what I do is check the news immediately after it is being released and wait for it to breah the low or high mark then I enter the trade. 95% accuracy.
