    Default Why Pound and Euro agains USD move in tandem?

    Can any one explain why euro/usd and Gbp/usd charts move in tandem?
    They always move in a same pattern..why?

    euro and pound move in tendem because both economies are closely related.The great britian biggest trading partner is the eurozone countries and as such their currncies move the same direction most of the time.

    because they are the most liquid pairs and dollar weakness or strength affect them most
