Default Trading Style - Which one are you?

    1. Position Trade = Trading long-term. A position trader will hold one trade for weeks or even months, usually using a weekly or monthly chart.

    2. Swing Trade = Short to intermediate-term trading usually will last for 2 to 5 days or more, usually using a daily and H4 chart.

    3. Day Trade = Also known as intra-day trades, last for a day using 60-minute or 15-minute chart, and not be suitable for holding overnight.

    4. Scalp = Using 1-minute or 5-minute chart to take small profits. Usually this styles need the most experience and skills from traders.

3 & 4 for me. I'm not fond of letting my postion open more than 24 hrs. It's a bit risk for begginer like me. Intraday or scalping which can give me 3-10 pips per position is more that sufficient enough for me as begginer, especially when using margin 1:500, with small capital too.. sm_rolleye
Can't wait till FxEgypt lauch the Micro lot.. Better money management for me though..

The big guys always play position trading - even holding to 2-3 months or more to gain the highest profits.

Scalper, Intra-Day Trader, Swing Trader and Position Trader all is same in FX. Both have same chance of winning and losing. This is FX 24 hour market. You only need timing to do this. I trade randomly when i want to trade.

scalping is my style as i'm a beginner trader so it's risky to open a position for a long time with a high leverage
