    Question fxopen's price different (higher)

I just wanna know, any different price on pairs,
fxopen's price different from other's broker. it's about 1-3pips at the same time (second).
ex : I look at US-JPY, say one broker 103.67, fxopen 103.68 (it's not about spread, they have the same spread)
I'd checked on couple of minute, it always higher than other's broker.
    how is that ?

What you are seeing there is different interbank prices. Different brokers have different sources for the prices. Different banks quote different prices. This is quite normal.

    Hello Manager,
Does spreads have effect on open position(s) or position(s) to be opened. I noticed that Euro/usd pair has spread of 2; Nzd/cad has spread of 10; gold has 100; Chf/jpy has 4. What are the differences? How do they affect one's position?

i was thinking the difference is due to the time difference
but as you saying that ofcource you are right
do you think some one may use this difference to get some profit or every company depend on only source i mean company like you fxopen depend only on one source not changing it

    Hi Henry
Sorry for this late reply. I do hope you still keep up this useful forum, and well I hope my answer will help.

Based on my personal experience, there will be a price difference at certain time, precisely during the release of big-bang news (something like nfp or sort). It is always the best way to stay aside since the fluctuation will be alot greater, and we might end up buying the highest or selling the lowest (even though we have set the price previously).

I also noticed that fxopen price has 1-2 pips difference with my previous broker in some cases. By the way, its not a problem for me. It always has the same difference with that. That means I am not facing any loss.

I think the another reason for why a price difference may occur is the speed of internet. Might be in one software it update quickly and in other slowly.

Its just a simple matter of different brokers quoting different prices for a currency pair. It's like shopping for shoes or something. The same pair of shoes in different shops will be at different prices. Same thing for forex quotes.

    what do you mean?

if the price different consistent, then there is no problem at all. there isnt such as universal forex price, as forex market isnt centralised like stock markets for example.

    Hi

I think its not about lower price but its about spread each pair, lower spread/tight spread and fixed spread even news came out are more wanted by client.

    Thanks
