    Default Market Watch Time Question

Hello everyone. I was using metatrader through a broker of mine... Than i downloaded metatrader again and now using a different broker. However the Market Watch time jumped 3 hours... For example the moment that I am typing this My previous market watch was 9.07 Am but now it is 12.07 Pm
isn't market watch suppose to be same globally?

or does market watch change through brokers?
I lately installed metatrader from the offical page of metaquotes

The time indicated in MT4 is dependant on the timezone of the broker. If you want to know the opening times of the various forex markets, try http://www.forexmarkethours.com/

You can get FX Egypt's MT4 version at http://www.fxegypt.com/f/mt4setup.exe

Be sure to choose English as the language used when you install it.

Yes the time shown on the platform is in the broker's timezone, not users' local timezone. Each broker uses its own timezone. And we think in our own local timezone. What a mess, especially for traders/investors from countries different than the broker's! So just be careful.

usually the GMT time zone is more used for news and such, so a broker who gives its time in GMT make sit easier to determine newstime
