Can you supply the meta-trader equivalent? It would be much easier that way

To me the pivot is very nice but i most times don't see the need when one just wants to get in and out of the market.

    Hello ceestech

"Never look a gift horse in the mouth" I don't use pivot points while charting the USD/JPY.

But placing my own data into the calculator above I get:

    Upward: 82.32 82.79 85.45

    Downward 80.14 78.46

Lets see if or how many times any of these (above) figures appear on the USD/JPY thread this week.

    True pivot points by calculator: 82.89 82.39 82.10 81.60 81.31 80.81 80.52

    Good luck

will any1 ever be specific with any analysis and tells sm1 exactly what to do,long or short instead of guessing in the two directions?

Pivot point is also known as support and resistance levels and it is a good tool to consider but a trader should not completely rely on it as it keeps on changing in the market .
