    Gold prices settled at London's A.M. fixing session on Monday at $915.75 per ounce rising from $908.75 per ounce from Friday's NY P.M. fixing session.

    currently the expectations of oil to drop down and the usd to rise a little makes it very possible for gold to lose some of its value

    Nowadays the first factor that affects the gold price is the Dollar to euro status

    I would agree with you hamadatherock

    If you look at a 24 hour period till the end of trading last week you'll see that gold tends to move in the same direction as EUR/USD
