Lightbulb What causes the movements in the Forex market?

What causes the movements in the Forex market?

Whenever you will open Meta Trader 4 you can see all the currency pairs and from Monday to Friday you will see movements of different currencies.

What causes the movement of different currencies is a question that comes to the mind of every newbie Forex trader. Since each country has its own currency which is linked to the other countries currency pair. The international demand and supply of the country's currency causes movements which are related to the fundamental news from that country.

Also the movements are a result of the Forex trading taking place in the Inter bank markets and the overall sentiments of the traders who are dealing in that currency pairs.

Default What causes the movements in the Forex market?

There are many things which move the stock price..However the fundamental reason a stock moves is “demand”

If the demand is more than supply, the price will rise..otherwise it will fall.

For someone selling the stock at $100, there is someone who is buying at $100. So there are always buyers and sellers in stock market.

If we drill this further, some of the reasons that impact the demand are -

1.Company’s performance (such as quarterly, annual report, future projections)
2.Government policies _ Just see the impact of trade war with China. All the companies that sell/buy goods from China has taken a hit of about 50% in their stock price
3.Buyer Excitement - Amazon has seen losses year after year, but still its stock price kept on growing at 15% during the same time.
