    Default Strategy HILO on GBP/JPY-GBP/USD

This is also a popular method and it produces some good signals. Remember to give it a try on demo first:

    You need :
    4HR chart :
    EMA8
    SMA21 HIGH
    SMA21 LOW,
ADX (average directional movement index) 14,( gray),+DI (green), -DI (red)

    Strategy :

Long : EM8 cross SMA21H at open next candle if ADX going up and +DI>-DI>15

Short : EM8 cross SMA21L at open next candle if ADX going up and -DI>+DI>15

    For stops and limits:
Long : I put my stop 10 pips under SMA21 LOW reverse if short ...
I don't have a target ... I stay in the trade as long as em8 is out off sma21 and the signal to exit is when ADX begins to go down or the cross +DI and -DI or price cross ema8.

I tis not too big timeframe the 4Hour chart for G/J? It can be move more then 500 pip during that timeframe. Is there any experience with less timeframe. M60 or M30?

I use 1H charts for trading but sometimes switch to 1min or tick chart for fine tuned entry.

Does anyone trade this method anymore? The tread looks empty...
