    Default Trading the Asian High/Low

Hi everyone. If you have been trading, or at least immersed yourself with Forex trading for a while, you should notice that the least volatile period for the majors excluding Yen belongs to the Asian session. During this period, the price action for the Euro and Cable moves like snail and operates within a narrow range. The volatility will come back when it is near the European open and that is where I get ready to aim for a good scalp.
At 0600H GMT, we can determine the Asian High and Asian Low of the Day by then. With the price action moving at a slower pace waiting for the big players to come in, set a buy order at the Asian High and a sell order at the Asian Low of the Day. Setting orders using this method will usually yield at least 10 pips for you without much sweat. Regarding the take-profit, depending on your lot size, you can opt to take-profit at TP1 or wait later for the hourly candle bar to materialize to take profit at TP2. This depends on your risk/money management. The key point here is to take note of your entry.
Decided to file this as a trading setup since this is one of the methods I use frequently since I found in one of the forums.

You can use this indicator to help you set the box. It works on your MT4 on the server time. You need the box from 23:00 GMT till 6:00 GMT. Check your broker's time. I'm attaching the indicator with a template for FXEGYPT's platform.

I'm trading primarily on Cable, I set maximum 30 pips SL or at the opposite side of the Asian range, whichever is lower. Move your SL to breakeven if it moves 10-15 pips in your favor. You can enter at 2 lots, exit the first at 15 pips and move the remainder to breakeven, then let the winner runs for the whole day or take-profit at a further point.

Check post nb#2 for the times of the Asian session. As the for the image, just download the indicator and the template and put them o fxegypt's MT4 and you'll see what I see. For help in MT4 just visit the metatrader section here in the forum and open a new thread asking how to put an indicator and a template on your MT4. I'll answer you there where everyone can benefit from the info.

Amin do you have a statement demo or real that you might want to share with us about this method. We used to trade the Asian session 3 years ago, me and my friend, and we took a demo account from 5000 to 25000 in 3 months, and a real account from 15000 to 30000 in 6 weeks. I still have the statements somewhere on my hard disk.

Actually no because I use many trading systems all together on one account so it won't do any good but I can tell you that on average, you'll have a minimum of 10 days pure wins so you'll be positive at the end of the month. I'm saying 10 days because you can never find a way to exclude bad days. That's pretty good because 10 days means 100 pips per month, some guys die for 50.

100 pips per day is very achievable with GBPJPY pair. Hope it helps. That is, if you can take the wide spread.
