    Line 247:

    (up+down)/2>=Minimum_average_interval && (up+down)/2<=Maximum_average_interval)

    Why you set this formula?

    Say in the past 10 bars, we got fractals on 2nd, 5th and 9th. So, the correct average interval would be:
    2(first interval) + 3(second interval) / 2(total of intervals) = 2.5

    With your calculation, the result would be:
    3(total of fractals)/ 2 (?) = 1.5 . Which is wrong...

    Also, if possible, set the input min / max average interval as double instead of int. Thanks

    Thanks, the interval calculation seems ok now.

    But the fractals counting still wrong...

    The screenshots that I sent before were taken using the settings attached.

    Just go back to the same date using these settings... and you'll see.

    This condition: if(iFractals(_Symbol,PERIOD_CURRENT,MODE_UPPER,i)!=0)

    Counts the fractals correctly, but after the fractal go vanish (repaint), somehow the EA must decrement -- the counter.

    That's the solution I'm looking for.

    You realized what I meant, thanks a lot V, you're the best!

    Now comes the 2nd and possibly the final part of my R&D with Fractals, it's a bit more tricky tho, so take your time.

    1. Check if the very last fractal of the sequence was a Up or a Down fractal.
    2. Count the distance in bars from this very last fractal to the current bar.

    3. Count how many up and how many down movements the up fractals did.

    By up movement I mean, the current up fractal is plotted with a higher price than the previous up one.
    By down movement I mean, the current up fractal is plotted with a lower price than the previous up one.

    Say, we got 10 up fractals over the past 50 bars, so we got 9 movements to analyze and count how many went up and how many went down.

    The same logic is valid for checking the down fractals movements.

    4. Get the difference in pips from each movement and calculate the average pips movement.

    Say, the current up fractal was plotted 3 pips above the previous up one, then the EA must count 3pips.
    Say, the current up fractal was plotted 3 pips under the previous up one, then the EA must count 3pips as well.

    This way, the formula is:

    For the up ones: The sum of all up fractal movements in pips / Total of up fractal movements
    For the down ones: The sum of all down fractal movements in pips / Total of down fractal movements

    That's it. I know it may sound weird at a first glance, but it is useful to detect some market momentums.

    You don't have to create inputs for these new features. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you in advance.

    No, there is no need, since there will be no inputs for these new features. I just need to have them in the code. Thanks
