Default Missing Orders

Well I was playing around on the demo acoount - MT4 - and I manually closed out an order, and at the same time - I think - I was stopped out on another order.

Low and behold, both orders disappeared from the 'Trade' tab, but neither order appeared on the 'Account History' tab.

I closed the platform and re-opened it, and they're still not there.

Well, I am not incredibly upset, as it is a demo account and I am experimenting a little so I am not taking my profits and losses too seriously in this demo account. BUT what if these profits and losses were important to me in terms of establishing whether or not a system is worthwhile? Or even worse, What if it was a real account with real money?

Has anyone had this experience before?
Is it easily resolved?

Is there any change in your account balance? Try right click in 'Account History' tab to open menu and click 'All History'. See if that help.

Are you having the same problem with other accounts on this mt4 install? I just tried it myself and the history shows up ok.

Yes, that did the trick.

Thanks!

I have never had this problem before, although previously on another platform with another broker the platform crashed when I tried to either open or close an order - don't remember which - and a window advertising their webinars popped up at the same time.

Never had that problem here.

This one was easily solved!
