About Closing Open Positions...
I made an order today on AUD/USD with S/L at 0.9109 and T/P at 0.9146.My problem is I tried closing the order at 0.9143 but the server gave an error message saying "Modification is denied because the price is to close to the market".Can anyone please explain to me why this is so?Thanks.

You can not make any modifications to the order incase market price is closer than 10 pips to s/l or t/p level.

Sometimes when the market moves quickly, you can get a requote when the price changes in between you clicking close and the order being closed. The requote is to ask you if you want to close at the new price.
To avoid the requote go to tools/options in the MT4 menu, click "options" tab and set "deviation by default" to 3 or more.

Requote can be happen in some situation.
As far as I know, slow internet connection could be main reason and other problem is when market move very fast, usually because of big news.... Its almost impossible to close / make new Open Position, because price moving fast up-down in some ranges in a minutes.... Setting deviation too big might be trouble for scalper (I agree 2 or 3 pip is enough)
Other requote trouble could be from broker server, too crowded or technical problem.

Hello Vidigix
I think near all bases have been covered in your quest for answers, widhie75 touched on a good point about slow connection, last week while using a software program to convert a MKV to AVI file, I tried to use my "Modify or Delete" window to modify an order but my CPU was hitting near 100% causing the platform to freeze. Now I keep my "Windows Task Master" on my "Taskbar" to close any system in an immediate risk to causing another freeze.
FXOpen Manager all correctly stated above the 10 pip rule on modifying open orders, but you can modify Stop or limit orders at a closer range. (I think its as close as 3 or 4 points from market open price excluding spread) hopefully someone with give more precise number for this part.
Good luck
