Automated trading or EA ????

Well to be frank am a manual trader and i have been trading the same way from past two years.
I wanted to know what is the difference between this automated trading and the expert advisors ?

The difference between automated trading system and manual system is that, in automated trading system, your EA automatically opens and close a trade. Why in manual trading system you open and close trade manually by yourself.

managed account is managed by person..depend on the manager whether he use automatic system or manual.managed account is not automated trading

I am planning on using EA for testing profitability within a time span of 1 week. I like to transfer profits from EA weekly.

I am also confuse if they are the same but in my opinion, we are used to ave a concept of EA being installed on EA folders of an MT4 software. Automated trading on the other hand may include an independent software (or exe file) such as that of fxstat. In addition, automated trading may also use API and an autocopy system, not necessarily EA's.
