Order execution capacity- part 2
Alright, i received my response from tech support about the error with my pending stop orders being rejected. They said that by the time the order was processed, the price had already moved beyond where the order was attempted to be placed.
Next, I deactivated the pending order usage and switched to market order usage instead, so I could get the execution speed timing. What I found out is that the FXOpen ECN server is slow when dealing with the opening of a new position.
How do i know? Simple. I have received the actually speed of different types of order execution. The average execution time for closing an order position is 594ms. The average order modification time is 431ms. The average order opening time is 1231ms. So, the execution speed of everything except to place a new order is half a second, but the execution speed to place a new order is over 1 full second.
I would like to know why it is so much slower to open a new position versus doing ANY other kind of order function and if there is anything that FXOpen will do to fix this problem.
Also, just for informational purposes, the ping time from my VPS to the ECN server is 40ms. So to get the actual ECN server speed, subtract 40ms from the posted times.

My stops are being rejected as well.
When price approaches my stops, it turns green, yellow... then the whole buy/sell stop order suddenly disappear.
Why?

First off, even though your order disappears from the Trade tab, you can still find it in Account History. The easiest way to find out why the order was rejected is to look up the "Comment". If you do not see the comment in your MT4 account history, right click on the order and select "comment" in the pop up menu. The order comment might say "cancelled by dealer". To find out what it means, check FXOpen CRM at http://crm.fxopen.com/KnowledgeBase/...rs%20Execution
To get a more detailed explanation, please, e-mail your account number and the ticket numbers for the affected orders to dealer1@fxopen.com . MT4 terminal logs (.txt files found in your MT4 installation folder, typically C:\Program Files\MetaTrader - FXOpen\logs ) or the screenshots of the Journal tab will be helpful.
