Thankfully you have the option of ECN for your EAs here at FXOpen

I have a small live-demo(low deposit) account with them and I also got such email.

I liked them and even had ideas to transfer my main account to them, but not any more.

Yes, i was already reading about. In fact i think it is a good idea to spread trading capital on a few accounts. Just for the case something go wrong with one broker. Are demo ECN accounts available?

Yes. Download the ECN version of MT4 and open a demo in the normal way.
