Results BURN FXOpen Drifting Challenge Belarus 2010

FXOpen, one of the leading brokerage companies in the industry FOREX, the sponsor and organizer of the grandest events of drifting in Eastern Europe �Burn FXOpen Drifting Challenge Belarus 2010" which took place this autumn, 18-19 September. Among them were the champions of drifting from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Latvia. Visitors from the JDM All Stars champion Australia, Luke Fink, European champion Dan Chapman, a champion of Ireland, Walter Smith, Juha Ritnanen champion in Finland. But the major stars, of course, have become recognized as aces Drifting - Tony Angelo, founder of the team �Drift Alliance�, Judge Formula Drift USA, and Tengku Djan, unchallenged champion of Asia on the drifting for several years, a team member �Drift Alliance�, Ambassador of Bridgestone's Southeast Asia (both racers form a team FXOpen).

First time competitions passed in heart Minsk (Belarus) for territory Airport Minsk -1, specially for this was prepared special playground where was laid new asphalt worth noting that all days competitions airport remained acting and continued accept and send aircraft normally.

The first day in the morning began with training races. In the afternoon, held qualifications, then the Top 16 final and final races in the amateur class Street. In this classification involved cars without safety cage. For them, the configuration of the route has been less rapid.

On the second day, there were training, then qualifying, top 32 and the finals of class Pro. In the final, contested the strongest - Juha Rintanen from Team JDM Racing (Finland) and Tengku Djan from FXOpen Bridgestone (Malaysia). The winner �Burn FXOpen Drifting Challenge Belarus 2010" was a participant from Finland. Third place went to Dan Chapman from Driftworks (England).

Competition culminated in a solemn ceremony of rewarding and spectacular fireworks in honor of the winners. Competition prize fund was $ 20,000. The main prize for first place in the class PRO - $ 12000.

Also, two of the best drifters in Belarus, and Russia Sergei Sack (Belarus) and Eugene Satyukov (Russia) won a trip to Malaysia to competition in FXOpen Drift Series.

For those fans of drifting, who failed for whatever reason, to attend events in person, on site drift.by was organized by a live Internet broadcast through 3G interenet provide mobile operator VELCOM.
