FXOpen ECN/STP Account Margin Requirements
hi,
can someone please explain to me what does it mean by
1)Margin Call At Margin Level of less than 100%
2)Stop Out Losing trades are closed automatically at Margin Level of less than 75%
??
for 1), i presume whatever equity amount i have in my account is equal to 100% margin? so if my equity goes negative let say -1%, it will trigger margin call??
for 2), let say i have $1,000 equity amount and my losing trades amount to -$250, no stop out will occur but when it hits -$251, it will immediately trigger Stop Out? Am I right?

Hi
margin call - give the signal you open trade nearly get stop out due the margin level already low. so you either can add fund or ignore its .
So when you margin level reach 100%, the trade open will highlighted with red color, its alert you trade nearly get stop out due margin level already low.
Example :
margin requirement are - 200usd
You equity current are - 200usd
Formula stop out or margin level in percentage - equity/margin requrement x 100
so : 200/200x100= 100%
so if you equity down to below 175usd, you will get stop out because you margin level are already below 75%. So the trade will closed automatically or will closed with the bigger loss 1st the follow the 2nd till you margin level are above 75% if have more than 1 trade open or its will closed all if the margin level cannot reach above than 75%.
Thanks

hi,
seem you are not understand the explanation above, please read carefully.
I gave the example on equity and margin requirement not from balance.
carefully with this key word -->
"so if you equity down to below 175usd" i dont mean that amount are balance but equity. Please replace 175usd to 150usd .. the calculation are wrong with 175usd. sorry my mistakes about the right amount. But the formula still same.
175usd will get 87.50%
So you margin requirement above are = 200usd
so --> 150/200x100= 75%
so if you equity down to below 150usd (margin requirement 200usd), you will get stop out because you margin level are already below 75%. So the trade will closed automatically or will closed with the bigger loss 1st the follow the 2nd till you margin level are above 75% if have more than 1 trade open or its will closed all if the margin level cannot reach above than 75%.

hi nonamer,
if my trades get stop out, will the closed trades in the history tab indicate it's a stop out in the comment field?
