How to print screen (screenshot).
If you run into some problems with your Meta Trader or FXOpen website, FXOpen support may ask you to make a screenshot of the page. We need a print screen (a snapshot of your screen) to better understand the problem you are facing and help you fix it.
Print screen is also a useful skill for forumers who would like to post a picture of their account/indicator /chart for visual aid, to better explain their point of view to other trades.
Please, follow these steps to make a print screen:
1) Maximise the window that you need to capture.
2) Find and click the Print Screen button ( Prt Scr) on your keyboard
(Pic.1)

3) Click the Start menu, choose All Programmes / Accessories / Paint. Click on Paint
4) Press Ctrl+V (at the same time)
5) Choose menu File /Save in Paint.
6) Make up a file name and choose file format ( we advise JPEG / jpg). Click Save.
All done!
I guess you need to post here how to make video recordigs of the screen picture as well

to record screen video we must need some kind of screen video capture software, some of them are with price and some of them are free to download, if this Forum allow me to post some link where those software could be found i may do so, but at first i need farther confirmation for submitting those links (where desktop monitor's live video could be recordable in basic to flv format).

I posted this after having a VERY hard time trying to find out what exactly a client means by "My Meta trader is all messed up! Please, help me!!!"
If we ever need video recordings from clients to help them solve their problems, i will sure post it

Hello FXSupporter
I use to have a website and placed video images from my platform on it and placed a link to it on this forum, to help/show members/guests on this forum in the past. I also used my bannermaker to achieve this, but I no longer have the website and my download limits prevent me from adding then in the "Manage Attachments".

This is EXACTLY what I wanted to learn...thank you so much FXSupporter for posting this.
Seasoned traders sometimes forget that Newbies do not even know the most basic function of most tools in MT4 or other trading platforms, and also how to carry out simple task which are taken for granted by them (seasoned traders).
Instruction on how to make video recording would be great too, as is instruction on how to post the screen snapshots & videos on forum.
As a matter of fact, I have absolutely no idea how to attach an EA onto a MT4 platform, let alone how to make it work.
I would most welcome seasoned traders to post simple info for us Newbies.
All the best guys & gals!
