I don't like to not get commissions from PAMMs
That's right. If you refer a client who opens a PAMM account, you do NOT receive commission for it from the merchant broker's end. Which means no commission from FXOpen for your hard work of prospecting and bringing such client onboard. Instead, it is up to you to collect your "referral fees" directly from the money manager.
Well there are two disadvantages to this:
1) Your money manager client will feel like he is paying "extra" from his pockets to sign up through you.
2) Why should he pay you when he can sign up directly with the merchant broker?
Now I am seeing a trend of traders who want to trade on behalf of others through PAMMs, to limit liabilities of managing a pool of funds and rather just trade for them externally. This means that as IBs, we are loosing out on the opportunity to earn from these types of clients.
Therefore, I would like to hear from all IBs out there on any suggestions, solutions or creative ideas on how to get around this problem?

PAMM is designed for managers and investors to make money from trading, not from referring people to it. Why not just use your referral link to refer traders to fxopen yourself?

because if you do and bring on board refs/clients who want to join any PAMM offer then :
A. you dont gain anything, since there is no IB if client fund goes to PAMM
B. There even no bonus for client for opening account, as 25$ avoided when trasfering to PAMM, as well as 10 lot wont exist even if sticking a year for any PAMM
while in both case FXopen will earn commission from the funds, they dont nearly give equal opportunity if someone want to join solely or mailnly under this PAMM feature.
And sadly, but Apollo355, most thread is old, and dont get answers, updates, or the sense that anything happening. I said this on another thread, and will restate it till things change.
I appriciate all the promises FXopen makes, but i would also like to see all the follow ups too, i think it is just fair...if i promise i follow up.
There is not even a main page PAMM ranking link available without logging in, and was promised when? pls dont tell me that would take so impossible long as 3-4 months to create.
I could give many other examples, but i dont want to go off topic...

If you are a PAMM manager you have everything to gain from running it. You get clients, and more fees.

version A stood for bringing in to FXopen clients who in turn join for a PAMM ( not a PAMM that referrer has, if referrer has any).
the 2 points were as 2 probably answers, not one with 2 parts necesserily

I think there is a fine line in this type of referral. Firstly, the client will not be signing up because of the broker, but more because of the return of trading from the PAMM manager. So the appeal is not the services but the return. Of course, there is probably a possibility you can get a pamm manager to shoot you some fees for managing client funds you refer to their pamm. I don't think that is a problem.
But fund management is not the business. This business is a broker, for traders. The PAMM is just a service available for fund managers themselves. So you are refering a client to the fund manager and not to the company FXOpen.
At least thats how I see it. I am sure these fund managers will happily throw you a few % of their takings if you refer them good investors. But FXOpen do not make money from the fees charged by fund managers.

Just opinions:
- A new product/service usualy has some times to evaluate considering some aspects by trial it to a few tester in order to get better(improve) and limiting the damages caused and so on. After the new product/service ready, it will be launched for people/customers.
- PAMM account, Multi Terminal and MAM are kind of trading tools which provide choices for their users, whether each party willing to use one of them or combine it according to each suitable use and investment/business plan of the parties or prefer to say as market share/segment. Suppose, by knowing the benefits each of PAMM, MT and MAM also functions & definition of IB, Referrer(mgr partner), Money manager, Broker, and Investors one could understand the colorful vehicles of financial freedom and figure out how to make mutual collaborative business based on each market share.

No, but as a money manager, you do get increased exposure, greater security and you can charge a management fee if you wish to include it in your offer. PAMM is a great opportunity for you. It's for money managers and investors. Not really meant for referral agents.

Actually that is where the issue is. Many of us are not money managers. We don't trade at all or on behalf of clients. We simply just want to refer money managers to FXOpen who will open PAMM accounts, and in return, get paid for our referral efforts. And so far, this system will not rewards us - which means we'll be working for free should our prospect decides to go with a PAMM account.
And the idea of collecting a referral fee directly from the prospect won't work, because then what stops them from signing directly with you to avoid paying extra for going through us?

why dont you open and manage 1 pamm account?
from that, you can get a lot benefit from your effort.
