Oh no, I used wrong Leverage...can I fix it?

Hi everyone,

I think I made a big screw-up.....
I used the wrong leverage on opening a standard $25.00 account.
I used 1:100 when I believe I should have used 1:500.
$47.00 Deposit ain't enough to do any trades....lol
sorry.....still learning.

But is it possible to fix that?
Should I give a phone call to FXopen home base office?
Or is it unchangeable?
Should I e-mail the Finance dept about it?
Or do I need to add more $funds?

Any help is appreciated.....

FXpete,

All you need to do is login to MY FXOpen and under the Settings menu click on Personal. Inside that page you can change your leverage to 1:500.

Just open new demo account again using the same step you open on the 1st time.
Demo account cannot top up.

Some Demo account in other brokers have to request for top-up.

You can open as many demo accounts as you want with most brokers, just delete the existing one and start over.

Since each MT4 instance is separate, you should have no trouble running them all. Just don't get confused which one. I solve that by having different coloured foreground on my different accounts.

yes you can change your leverage by going to your account settings. leverage is a very important thing and you must use a small leverage if you want to have less risk.
