Attention Investors! Deposit to PAMM and FXOpen welcome bonus.
Dear PAMM Investors,
We've noticed some of you run into problems with making a deposit to PAMM when you accept Manager offer, so i think there are some details worth explaining
When you create a Standard account and make a deposit equal to the Initial investment to join PAMM Manager Offer, the welcome bonus ($25) is added to your account. It is added automatically to all Standard accounts with initial deposit of $100 or more.
When you join PAMM offer, you may ONLY INVEST YOUR DEPOSIT, (not deposit + welcome bonus! ).
According to FXOpen bonus rules, you can not withdraw or transfer the welcome bonus from your Standard account until you trade 10 lots of total trade volume. (For Example: You open a trade of 0.5 lots selling the EUR/USD pair, then you open another trade of 0.3 lots buying the USD/JPY pair, and finally you open a trade of 1.2 lots buying the GBP/USD pair. In total up to this point your total trading volume is 2 lots (0.5+0.3+1.2=2 lots. And so on until you reach 10 lots).
In your case, you are not going to trade yourself, and need the account to invest into PAMM offer only, so you are not probably going to reach 10 lots and thats why you can not withdraw or transfer the $25 bonus,
If you try to invest deposit + bonus, your request to invest into PAMM will be rejected. YOu may check the status of the request and the comment in MyFXOpen cabinet, section HISTORY-->NOTICES https://cabinet.fxopen.com/History/Notices.aspx.
So what do i do?
1) Send an e-mail to finance@fxopen.com with your account number and ask to remove the welcome bonus.
2) Make sure you invest your deposit only, not deposit+bonus.
Best of Luck, FXOpen Customers Support

I think this offer is already over! But now I see that FXOpen provides all its new customers a welcome bonus of $ 25(I'm waiting to get it), my question is this rule that you have just described, applies to this new bonus? I think it's obvious, but since the rules can be changed, so I'd like to know!
what garantee is offered by fxopen to investors on the safety of their investment ? i am wondering if it is important to live in the same area or to be in close relationship with the PAMM account manager before you decide an investment. Safety is my problem and eventually gain is my goal.
The only guarantee is, someone else can lose your money for you.
But on a more serious note: Forex is a high risk venture and every broker will warn you of this fact before you invest/deposit money with them.
With PAMM accounts the manager will be using his/her capital as well as other investors capital so it will hold possible more money than you would ever think of investing in a "Mirco" account upwards so it does hold a slightly less risk, but one you can't control.
So if you can afford to loss a given amount of money and don't have the time or clue how to trade, PAMM is one option you might like to invest in.
Now if you had a choice to invest in a banking scheme that offers a guaranteed 10% a year interest or a PAMM investor with no guarantee of anything including your deposit/investment, but the frill of hitting it big in a few weeks, months what would you choose.
I leave it with you as I do think this offer has ended and a new one is now in place.
