As far as I know, the timing in MT4 platforms of all brokers are same. When the markets in USA gets closed, so at that time, the timing of new trading day starts in MT4 platform..

Hello nahiyar
Different brokers use different platform times.
A broker in the UK will use GMT other brokers might use GMT +1 etc, it don't effect my trading style, regardless of GMT settings.
If you have a platform on GMT +2 and your trading format is on the 4H chart. based on UK market open time your 4H chart is already 2 hours into its cycle at UK open time.
Traders using an EA based on UK open time (etc) need to adjust the parameter setting to offset this happening.
At the end of trading week all GMT+1 brokers close on their 23:59 hour while the UK platform traders will continue trading for the extra hour.
Good luck.

Well why to worry so much regarding the respective broker timing, more important is the market opening and closing time, guess we need to be aware of this and it is sufficient.

I think different broker will have different server time,we just look broker server time to adjusted our local time, but i think main point is we can choose any time we want to trading, because market open 24 hours

I have seen some of the platforms based on the timing of the same country or the server which is working on the platform and in the server is often the key to the timing of the platform

Of course, based of the country where the broker is located. It is currently trading in metatrader FXOpen terminal using time GMT +3. Since now it is summer, then the DST On.
Let's grow with FXOPEN....

I wonder why timezone cannot be fixed official for all MetaTrader brokers. Perhaps whether a broker comes from a certain country, the clients come from different countries; so it looks good that we can all follow official time standard. What do you think?

Every broker has his native country's time on his platform. If we see on the market watch of different brokers we can see different times on each one. Its you that have to calculate the your country's time according to that time and also according to GMT as its mostly used on many websites.

All we can do is trying to convert it manually by adding or decreasing the time different between our country time and server time (GMT +3).
