Start of FXOpen ECN/STP Demo

We are glad to announce that starting from Tuesday 28th April
our new ECN/STP service will be enabled in Demo mode.

We would like to invite you to help us to test our new service by opening an
FXOpen ECN Demo account and test all it's options during the next 2 months.

There is a special section opened on the forum: http://forum.fxopen.com/forumdisplay.php?f=190 , where you can talk about your experiences with the ECN and make your own suggestions on how we might improve your trading experience on ECN as long as to report us any bug issues you will find during the work and test this new service from FXOpen team.

To get FXOpen ECN Demo account:

1) Download FXOpen Metatrader4 ECN trading terminal from http://www.fxopen.com/Download.aspx?...4setup_ECN.exe.
After installation simply open a new demo account internally in the MT4 ECN by selecting file/open an account in the menu.

2) Download FXOpen Level II monitoring software by using this link: http://deep.fxopen.com/publish.htm
and install it. You can use it together with FXOpen MT4 ECN to monitor true
market depth.

The ECN Demo (and the Live ECN at a later date) will be added to the list of services that FXOpen provides.

Downloaded the demo, all went smooth.


First order (sell) placed at 1.00 volume (minimum VOLUME for ECN)

Sell order placed and opened at 1.46045 (spread -2 pips could have waited and chanced -05 pips)

Commission -$10.22 Swap $0.00 (commision average: equal to -1 pip/point)

5th digit takes a bit of getting use to (makes the trade look/seem faster, while watching )

Second order placed same volume (Commission -$10.25 Swap $0.00 spread -1 pip/point)

Will make a web page up soon to show the first trade exacution.

Think this thread might help others to get a better idea about ECN.

I got error message while installing FXopen Level II Monitoring

Any advice how to overcome that?

The error means that the you only have the .net framework 2.0 installed on the computer you are trying to run the program on when you need the .net framework 3.5 installed for Level2.

When you run http://deep.fxopen.com/setup.exe, it should install automatically. If it doesn`t, you can do it manually from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en.

I have installed the ECN MT4 and have it running for several hour and observed the trade are smooth, My ea works well. hope to trade in real account. But i have seen and tested other broker that have faster speed. ******. if i not mistaken the broker name.

Still testing with other eas.

Is the commision is structured such that way.

Works are still in progress for ECN server.
The difference between ECN we propose and feed you get from company you mentioned that in Live trading your order with ECN will go direct to intermarket and you will be conected with other sellers/buyers directly.

1000-2000 USD minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:500, limit orders may be placed inside the spread, partial execution when not enough volume in the market and all the futures of true ECN will be on this new service from FXOpen team.

I've placed an order during lastest news and can modify it while the market is still in a volatile state, never thought that would be possible before.
