Replace the "xxxx" with your account number. If someone visits the site using your link, a browser cookie is set and if they open an account within 30 days, you will be made the referral for this account.
If your account is with an IB partner like fxmalay, fxfrench, fxind etc... you can use their cabinet link if you are promoting in a language other than english. You links would be like this instead, for example.....
Hi, I will use these banners on my own blog to promote about fxopen. Its better if fxopen can host these banners and we just need to copy and paste the codes straightaway.
some question from me,
how to add banner on message board?
blog or website?
can u teach me to do that
Hello roziex
Q1) how to add banner on message board?
You only need a lnk back to a banner image file located on your website.
The image below is stored at my website. Most website come with a cpanel.
I uploaded the banner image to my image folder. Once uploaded I clicked on the image link that opens a side window to show the image data, at the bottom of that page it shows the URL path. I hold my cursor over the link, right click my mouse stroll down to Copy Link Location, left click my mouse (that saves the link)
Open a reply or start new thread at the forum right click my mouse and click paste.
To get the same results with banner image showing in full format you need to add these 2 codes [IMG] before url link [/IMG] after url link.
A quicker way to do this is highlight the link you placed on the message board, to do this click at the start of your link hold the button on your cursor down and stroll across the whole link until everthing turns blue and release the button. How while the url is a colour blue go to the Insert image tab above and left click. This will open a small window with a highlighted http:// showing. Hold you cursor over that and paste the same link into that box. If you hit the wrong button and the http:// is not highlighted simply delete all text and then paste.
If successful you'll see the to codes each side of your link you placed on the board.
I have to sign off now but will update more info about your other questions shortly
Again if you have a cpanel upload the banner to your image folder ( you can Create a new folder designed just for FXOpen images & data ect to store)
At this stage its best to Create New File for testing so only you can view it before the general public view it.
Open your public_html Current Directory and click on Create New File.
You see the new side window; Create a file in/home/yousite/public_html.
Type in any letters you think no-one else could code:
Example: fhhlcrfgxjhxtrx now add .htm and click create button.
Result: fhhlcrfgxjhxtrx.htm
Click on that link to re-open the side window again, stroll down to the Html Editor and click to open.
Before doing this copy link loction of the htm's URL link.
Once Html Editor is opened stroll along to the Insert/Edit image tab and open, double click the folder you banner was uploaded, and double click to place it on the
Html Editor window, right click on the banner image and stroll down to the Insert/Edit Hyperlink and click opening a new window. Once it opens you'll see a URL: box right click your cursor and paste the htm's path into the box once completed click Insert to finish your project now click save on your Html Editor.
Now back to the public_htm Current Directory and click on the url path to open the htm on your windows.
At first you might see the htm as blank, click on the Reload current page tab on your windows if the banner shows you have successfully add the banner and link.
It like look something like this (link removed website no longer active) clicking on this will only show FXOpen banner.
I added a new code target="_blank" to the code to show how it will cause the htm page to open in new window.
I Created a new htm file opened the gngdjcjkbjhgdwe.htm this time I only needing to use my Edit File option from my cpanel; copied and pasted the code into the new htm called dsgdgdsgtrjjc.htm to get this result: (link removed website no longer active) clicking on this url will open the link to the banner and if the banner is clicked it will open a new window for the gngdjcjkbjhgdwe.htm to view. Not placing the target code and clicking on the banner will replace the dsgdgdsgtrjjc.htm for the gngdjcjkbjhgdwe.htm in same window.
You can select the new window option while placing the link in the Html Editor/Hyperlink window.
If I wanted to place my FXOpen referral link to the banner I delete the bold type above and replace it with my refferal link. (I did check and it worked but removed the link before placing the url here as it might be seen as a promotion stunt )
