Hello!

This is my way of sharing my development of an Expert Advisor!

I have no programing skills, but I'm using an online builder to try to build an EA. I'll post here the evolution of this.

Hello!

I started of going to http://sufx.core.t3-ism.net/ExpertAdvisorBuilder/ and figuring out how this thing works.

Then, I started establishing the main logics for my buy and sell strategy, as well as the criteria for exiting the positions.

So far, I have my "decision" logics as follows:

BUY:
EMA 10 moves up from SMA 20
Stochastic 4,4,4 was below 50 (2 periods before)
RSI 14 was below 50 (2 periods before)

Exit (buy):
EMA 10 moves down from EMA 15

Sell:
EMA 10 moves down from SMA 20
Stochastic 4,4,4 was above 50 (2 periods before)
RSI 14 was above 50 (2 periods before)

Exit (sell):
EMA 10 moves above from EMA 15

I'll post some more soon.

So far, I've made a small profit. Around 10%... But it's better than loosing!

I'm forward testing Framework EA. So far, results are not very enthusiastic...

I had reached 5$, starting with only 2$, using the Framework EA.

Then, I got stupid, strated trading manualy in a crazy market moment and lost it! Now, I'm down to 0.55$...

It's official: my manual trading skills suck!

I'm using mostly EMA and SMA to determine entry and exit points. I use 15M TF and occasionally 1H.

My already low balance got even lower: downd to $0.35!!!

I'm going back to EAs!

For me, EA are the best solution, because I have a day job. And cant trade from 9 to 5. So if I get a reasonable EA I'll use it!

EA not only make better decisions than humans (most of the times), but are completely autonomous so you can set and forget! This is very good for me!

Now, I'm planing to build a new EA. It will consist of only two EMAs: 18 an 36. When they cross, it's either a buy or a sell order. Like tgis, I wll test on the 1H TF, to see if it's profitable.

Yesterday I backtested a few setings op EMA crossover to see if any was profit. The fact is that there are too many open positions that are unprofitable. As an average, I got around 30% of profit trades. There are still too many unprofit trades. I'll try to trim it down or include another indicator to filter out bad positions...

Right now, 1st July, 13:30 (GMT-1), it seems that the EUR-USD is on a very uptrend momentum! Buy now!

Hello!

I've tested my EA with not much success. I'll try to develop a new EA, to enter the Automated Trading Championship. I'm thinking of using EMA and Momentum.

The problem with my EAs atempts is that thgere are too many false signals. I want to see if I can make a "smarter" EA, so that it can avoid the "flat" markets...

If it goes well, I'll post some more.
